THE UNVEILING OF ANTONIA SANT'ANDREA

MFW Highlights.

In the heart of Milan's Quadrilatero fashion district is a hidden building that was one of Europe's first seminaries from the 16th century. After decades of restoration, the culmination of this avant-garde project was announced with the opening of Antonia’s latest forward-thinking project: Antonia Sant'Andrea.

After decades of restoration, the culmination of this avant-garde project was announced on the 14th of December 2022 as a new hotel-restaurant-cultural venue-retail complex rechristened as Piazza del Quadrilatero. Covering over 2,800 square metres, the square now offers a new promenade connecting Corso Venezia with Via Sant’Andrea, becoming a place open to the city.

Interiors are designed by the renowned architect Vincenzo de Cotiis with archaic idioms and futuristic expressions. Inspired by brutalist architecture, its raw-edged urban industrial feel is defined by a soaring seven-meter ceiling with graphic columns and an explosion of contrasting material.

Expect mirrored glass, rough cement, wood, stone, and micro resin offset by metal latticework. The blend of tradition and innovation will be more than a 'fashion experience' but a catalyst of inclusive and diversifying multicultural happenings.
