Founded in Denmark in 2016, start-up MATE is a brand whose mission is to tackle today’s challenges of dense traffic congestion, climate change and health issues through affordable, eco-driven electric bicycles.

Through the founders’ experience growing up and living in one of the cycling capitals of the world, Copenhagen, the brand has been able to channel the spirit of urban transport into sleek, simple, foldable electric bikes. Ranging from 250W to 1000W, and complete with top-tier specifications ranging from Shimano gears and Tektro disc brakes to USB ports and LED screens, Mate’s bicycles sit at the forefront of two-wheeled innovation.
